Brenda Martinez

Brenda Martinez is an accordionist, vocalist and BMI registered songwriter from San Antonio, TX. Rancho Alegre produced her debut album, Favoritas de Mis Padres, in 2019. The album is full of classic instrumental Conjunto: polka, huapango and bolero.

The selections were hand-picked by Executive Producer Baldomero Cuellar and Martinez herself, and pay homage to Conjunto greats like Ruben Naranjo, Gilberto Perez, Flaco Jimenez, Ruben Vela and more. Rounding out the recording is Brenda’s original polka, “La Galleta (Cookie Polka),” which is a nod to her West Side San Antonio roots.

We released this album on CD, all digital outlets and Vinyl LP! Buy it now on https://shop.ranchoalegre.org!
